Wallenberg [Fra]

Wallenberg is the second start for one of the most important bands in the French cold-wave scene, since Wallenberg revealed himself from 1984 to 1988 with many live records supporting Play Dead, Jad Wio, Neva and many more… and several featuring on compilations, radio shows and TV appearances, which revealed them to the French audience, before a premature split, although an album was planned with EMI.

Wallenbeg is back in 2004 with a new line up around Hervé (singer and co-composer) and the release of their first real album on Manic Depression Records. And their song also appeared on on the Strobelight Records compilation "New Dark Age Vol.3".

Object [Fra]

This is more about coldwave flirting with post-punk. A great sense of melody. Swirling somewhere between The Chameleons and Mono with a touch of Joy Division and draped in the shadow of French coldwave

After years of concerts and happenings, OBJECT released a debut five track EP in 2007. The press greeted the record with enthusiasm, citing influences such as Ulan Bator, Joy Division, I Love You But I’ve Chosen Darkness and Sonic Youth. A serie of concerts followed the release with OBJECT supporting acts such as Papier Tigre, Githead and Heligoland.

Start of 2009, Object release first album "A Place To Hide" on Str8line Records recorded and produced by Amaury Cambuzat (Ulan Bator, Faust) No concession : a powerful and dark music, "in your face" lyrics, a violent Post-punk spiral which doesn't let you indifferent.

Atomic Neon [Ger]

Atomic Neon - Darkenia (Release 2008)

Having started their spaceship from planet "Darkenia", the young German band releases this OldSchool Cold Wave CD just right after their "Life on Earth EP" released on Motor Digital. These 6 extra-terrestrian musicians were on the hunt for a life saving substance - the ATOMIC NEON. In a skillfully arranged manner, adding new elements to the ColdWave sound and combining PunkRock with emotional vocals, this CD presents a range of sounds which won't definitely be forgotten.

Influenced by the sounds from the late 70's/early 80's, ATOMIC NEON is the groundbreaking band for the future.1994 was the year Rio Black & Dr. Mole, the creative center for ATOMIC NEON, first made music together. In the Fall of 2006, after forming the Synth-Pop project SPUNK2003, Black & Mole searched for a live guitarist to help. Thus, the project was reinvented and songs were reconstructed into the band ATOMIC NEON.
