Is post punk dead?

I really try to search out some old school post punker from the existing bands, but miserably fail to achieve. So can we say post punk is dead?
Everything should come to an end, maybe that's the answer.
Sigh.

Haven't read all of your blog yet, but have you heard of Blue Jungle?

I highly doubt it. We still have a moderately stable scene here in California. Yeah, Blue Jungle, Anything After, and Blessure Grave all seem pretty post punky to me.

Bands like Savage Republic, the Urinals and the Human Hands make the rounds every so often.

haven't you noticed how indie bands have been (mostly unconsciously) feeding on the post punk musical structures in the past decade?
