23 Rainy Days [US]

I first found this band in 2006 as a gothic rock band but now their music changed a lot.

Seen what they describe themselves:

There is nowhere to run. You cannot escape the torrent of 23RAINYDAYS. Their sound is a lush, impeccably mixed brand of rock described by the band's membership as post punk dance metal. This Washington, DC based band assails you with the heartfelt honesty of emo, the classic melancholy of 80s new wave, and the cutting edge of modern rock. The result is music that has blended mass appeal into one thoughtful sound.

Mistur [Nor]

Mistur - "Skoddefjellet" demo June 2005
Mistur is a black metal project from Kaupanger in Sogndal. They play black metal with a focus on melodies and harmonies/moods. The band was formed in 2003 by Espen Bakketeig and Andr?Raunehaug, and they released their self-financed and critically acclaimed demo "Skoddefjellet" in June of 2005. "Skoddefjellet" received rave reviews in Scream, Monster, Vampire Magazine, heavymetal.no and many more. Almost 600 copies have been sold, both domestically and abroad. By now the band has a full line-up containing 7 members, Andr?Raunehaug (rythm guitar), Stian Bakketeig and Ivar Refsdal (lead guitars), Espen Bakketeig (synth), Bengt R鴑eid (drums), Rune Gandrud (bass) and Odne (screams). At present, the band is working on new material and are aiming to record an album in the early months of 2007. The album is scheduled for a summer release. In January 2007 the debutgig took place at Meieriet in Sogndal with great success. And 21th of April Mistur will play at club Maiden in Oslo. Hopefully there will be many more gigs to come.

The Last Cry [UK]

The band reformed in 2003 during which time they have supported The Mission, All About Eve, Skeletal Family, The Damned' and Gene Loves Jezebel to name a few, they are to release a new album at the end of the year.

Before I start

I try to find those unsigned / unfamed bands which call my attention, whether they've released an album or only demos.

I don't write, I merely copy the information together.

I post here maybe only for my own memo.
