VINCULUM TERMINATII began as PROCESSION OF MOURNING in 2001 in Massachusetts, USA soon after Nicolas left GORATORY. Fresh out of a brutal death metal band, Nicolas decided to pursue a melodic doom project.
Recently, Nicolas relocated to the dynamic city of Providence, Rhode Island and moved his home studio there as well. After an almost three year hiatus, new material is underway and new demos-in-progress can be heard here on this page. VT is heavily influenced by Swedish, Finnish, Italian, and German (to name a few) melodic greats such as: Rapture, Withering, Silentium, Betray My Secrets, Amorphis, Mors Principium Est, Eternal Oath, Slumber, Disarmonia Mundi, October Tide, Katatonia, and literally hundreds of others.
