It was at least 10 years before Michael Clayton and Andrew Meadows last saw each other, so from a chance encounter they began to catch up with each others lives in earnest.
They both had a great love for gothic music and from this, over the next eight months, a band was formed with Michael, Andy, and another old friend from the gothic scene way back in 86-87.

Formed in 2003 by Stephen Carey (formerly of Ireland's This Burning Effigy) together with vocalist John Stone (former manager of bands such as Vendemmian and Complicity). After an initial flurry of activity during which the band supported bands such as Red Lorry Yellow Lorry and All About Eve, they decided to cocoon themselves in the studio to write and record their first album.

The story of the band has been starting in Karcag, the autumn of 2003. Mortifer (bass, lyrics) and Aries Fragosus (vocal, guitar, programs) initated the band. Both of them became addicted to the dark metal, due to the nordic bands. Their music might described as special black metal with wholehearted themes.
