VINCULUM TERMINATII began as PROCESSION OF MOURNING in 2001 in Massachusetts, USA soon after Nicolas left GORATORY. Fresh out of a brutal death metal band, Nicolas decided to pursue a melodic doom project.

Recently, Nicolas relocated to the dynamic city of Providence, Rhode Island and moved his home studio there as well. After an almost three year hiatus, new material is underway and new demos-in-progress can be heard here on this page. VT is heavily influenced by Swedish, Finnish, Italian, and German (to name a few) melodic greats such as: Rapture, Withering, Silentium, Betray My Secrets, Amorphis, Mors Principium Est, Eternal Oath, Slumber, Disarmonia Mundi, October Tide, Katatonia, and literally hundreds of others.

SIGTYR is a melodic/epic/atmospheric/folkloric black metal band, based in Sogndal in Norway. The name SIGTYR is old norse and means "Victory in battle", "God of Victory" or "War God".
SIGTYR is the continuation of Odne's one man-project, that he started in 1999.It all started in Vik i Sogn, with Odne's 4-track demo called ALL MAKT.Jan (Mordvarg), who was playing in the local death metal band "Malicious Beauty", found Odne's ideas interesting, and joined him on his project in 2002. Odne and Jan made 50-50 of the material, and recorded 3 demos together. They also made a few recordings in 2002 and 2003, but their first serious demo was released in 2004, named SJELEFRED. Their next demo, KULDE, was released in 2005, and their last demo together was MED SORG ENDA SOGA, in 2006.
In 2005 SIGTYR became a full band. Andr?Raunehaug (lead guitar) and Espen Bakketeig (synth) from MISTUR joined the forces, together with drummer Oddbj鴕n Engebakken, who from 2006 was substituted with their earlier sessiondrummer, Asroth.
In December 2006 Jan started his own solo-project called FEIGD.From that day Odne decided to run SIGTYR as a one-man band, as it all started back in 1999.

The Revival [Fin]

Formed in winter/spring 2005. First demo came out in summer 2005 which is called World Through The Black Veil. It got some pretty good reviews in media but that's about it. During the angry winter 2005/2006 we made a few new songs. We rehearsed those couple months and then we thought that let's put this crap on tape. So we recorded a new demo in spring 2006 with the same line up. Demo is called Silent Tomorrow.

Decadence [Swe]

Decadence was founded in Stockholm, Sweden in the year of 2003. We are a bunch of hard working young people born 1983-1988:

Erik Röjås (drums)Our music has evolved into what we call Melodic Thrash Metal and we work hard on this genre which is new and unique. The experiment with extreme female vocals, using both growl techniques for the extreme audience, as well as Thrash Metal influenced screams for the outside crowd, make our sound even more specific. Decadence is often called a live band and love playing live as much as possible and this is when our music literally comes alive.The genre we play, that we call Melodic Thrash Metal, can be described as ordinary Thrash Metal with the heaviness of Melodic Death Metal with no keyboards. The vocals are extreme, aggressive female vocals combined with growl techniques as well as thrash metal screams. The original combination of these effects gives a specific sound which has evoked significant international enthusiasm.In the last 3 years we have released three fullength albums and one demo:

The Butterfly Explosion came together in the latter part of 2004 with the full line-up completed as recording began on their debut EP "Vision" in the Spring of 2005. Championed by 2FM's Dan Hegarty, the EP has also received radio support from Glasgow(Jim Gellatly XFM) to L.A.(Nic Harcourt KCRW) and college stations throughout the US where they played several shows in NYC and at the SXSW music festival in Austin, March 2006.
In June 2006 they were one of eight artists selected to perform at the IMRO "Best Of Tour" showcase - an annual showcase featuring the best upcoming acts in Ireland.
Their new 5-track mini-album/EP, 'Turn the sky', was released in September 2006. With radio distribution from May, tracks from the EP have received airplay from XFM Scotland, XFM London, Ireland's 2FM, Phantom FM and Today FM where the track 'Sophia' earned them 'Rising Artist of the Week' at the end of May. Another of the tracks 'Car Park' featured in the Top Ten Playlist of the UK's MOJO magazine('June' edition).
